Tasting Notes

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2010 Sophia has expressive ripe blackcurrant, black plum and black cherry notes over violets, cedar, baking spices and chocolate. Medium bodied, it has taut, youthful fruit laced with oak in the mouth supported by medium to firm fine grained tannins and lively acid. The finish is long. It should drink best 2014 to 2022+.
