Tasting Notes

**Note: from a .6 ha parcel situated two-thirds in Cruots and the rest in Champs Traversin**
A brooding and deeply pitched nose of red currant, cassis, violets, earth and exuberant spice notes. There is excellent volume to the very rich, round and pure medium-bodied flavors that possess highly sophisticated tannins that are already well integrated on the powerful, focused and stunningly long finish. This is generous to the point of opulence on the mid-palate yet there is again faultless balance that suggests that this should age effortlessly. This is bigger, richer and more powerful than the Reignots but not longer and certainly less refined.

Very mild reduction diminishes only slightly the interest of the red currant, violets, earth and exuberant spice notes.
