Puligny Folatières, Domaine Leflaive 2010

Tasting Notes

**Note: from 3 separate parcels spread out over the entire vineyard**
This is also notably ripe but more elegant with pure aromas of citrus, stone, pear and acacia blossom. The attractively energetic and precise flavors reflect the ripeness of the nose as this is more generous than it usually is, indeed it is unusually forward and approachable relative to its usual restrained feel at this early stage. As such the 2010 Folatières should drink well young but allow for extended aging too if desired.

Allen Meadows, Burghound.com (47), June 2012

(bottled in April of this year): Bright yellow. Aromas of pineapple, mirabelle and soft herbs, plus a whiff of silex-like minerality. Round, rich and voluminous, with intense mid-palate fruit and lovely perfume. Finishes long and aromatic, with superb mineral lift. Wonderfully palate-staining 2010 white Burgundy.
