**Note: from 40+ year old vines**
This is surprisingly ripe yet the beautifully layered aromas of spiced pear, mineral reduction, sea shore and green fruit are really quite reticent. There is a wonderful complexity to the powerful and seductively textured medium weight plus flavors that possess excellent intensity on the moderately austere and bone dry finish. There is a real sense of underlying tension here that confers real vibrancy onto the mouth coating finish.
