A strikingly complex nose brings together notes of admirably fresh red and blue pinot fruit, soy, exotic tea and spice nuances. There is excellent volume to the big-bodied, intense and seductively textured medium weight plus flavors, all wrapped in a powerful and long finish that like several wines in the range display just a touch of backend dryness that my range attributes to the presence of gas.
