Tasting Notes

Made in an attractive, more muscular style, the 1994 displays a dark ruby/purple color, spicy, meaty, curranty aromas with a touch of cedar and earth, moderate tannin, and good flesh and structure. It may develop into an upper-80-point wine if the tannin melts away without a loss of fruit. Anticipated maturity: now-2010. Last tasted, 3/99.
