Clos de Vougeot, Domaine d'Eugénie 2011

Tasting Notes

A brooding and very reserved but highly complex nose features notes of dried flowers, kirsch, plum and plenty of pungent earth. The highly textured, intense and concentrated big-bodied flavors also exhibit the same very fine tannins as the rest of the range with a hugely long finish that is less austere than is typical. This well-balanced effort should amply reward mid to even longer-term cellaring though 12 to 15 years should see it at its best. Drink 2026+

**Note: Perfectly situated plot on the highest part of the hill, very near the chateau. From a 1.37 ha parcel of 60+ year old vines situated close to the Château**
