A relatively elegant nose releases soft scents of various red berries, earth, floral and sauvage nuances that are highlighted by gentle wood notes. There is excellent volume to the notably rich and velvet-textured broad-shouldered flavors that are supported by phenolically mature and quite firm tannins on the mouth coating and attractively well-balanced finish. This is really very good though it can't match the sheer depth of the marvelous Clos St. Denis.
