Opening with notes of freshly squeezed lemons, mown grass and nettles alongside hints of capsicum, wet pebbles and grapefruit peel, the medium-bodied 2012 Sauvignon Blanc has a good line of refreshingly tart acid to counter the intense vegetal and citrus flavors before it finishes with good persistence. Drink it now to 2015.
This year Churton's Sauvignon Blanc is incredibly aromatic with notes of lemon, asparagus, freshly cut grass and passionfruit. The palate is lively with refreshing acidity and more notes of lemons and asparagus alongside pineapple and passionfruit. There is a long, clean, citrus fruit finish. A pure expression of the grape ideal for the summer months.
