Tasting Notes

**Note: from a whopping 1.76 ha parcel**
An intricately woven nose blends both oak and natural spice elements that serve as an elegant backdrop to the earthy combination of violets, dark berries and cassis scents. There is exceptionally good richness to the very round, intense and muscular large-scaled and very firm flavors that possess a seductive texture but there is enough dryness to notice on the austere finish. While the requisite phenolic ripeness appears to be present the dryness is a concern and it's not altogether evident if this will harmonize with time in bottle.
