Somewhat curiously, this is fruitier and less complex than the Clos de la Commaraine with a mix of red currant, plum and blue berry as well as the typical warm earth nuances. The delicious, fresh and energetic middle weight flavors possess good mid-palate density and good drive on the dusty, mouth coating and overtly austere but long finish. This should also be very impressive in time. Outstanding. Drink 2021+.
