A notably spicy and ripe nose speaks of red, blue and black fruit along with plum, cassis and earth hints where the latter is also reflected by the powerful and overtly muscular big-bodied flavors blessed with buckets of sap that does a fine job of buffering the structure even though the hugely long finish is still notably austere and very tight. This will require patience.
