Wow, what a nose! This is kaleidoscopic in its breadth with exotic spice notes, anise, sandalwood, clove and hoisin. The sheer complexity of the nose is more than matched by the silky, energetic and highly seductive broad-scaled flavors that ooze a very fine dry extract and minerality on the mouth coating finish that seems to go on and on. A monumental Musigny of class and grace yet for the all its size, it's a wine of finesse.
