The intense floral nuances are also evident here as they add breadth to the pungently earthy dark berry fruit aromas. As is typically the case, this is quite serious, even brooding with rich, dense and powerful medium weight plus flavors that possess more prominent tannins and outstanding length on the mouth coating, dusty, austere and impressively long finish. This superb effort will require plenty of cellar time to arrive at its apogee but should be well worth the wait.
