A very ripe nose offers up notes of plum, black pinot fruit, pungent earth and plenty of spice influence. There is a relatively refined mouth feel to the medium weight yet powerful flavors that possess outstanding power and punch on the long, balanced and only moderately austere finish. This will need plenty of cellar time but should very much be worth the wait.
