Bâtard Montrachet, Vincent et Francois Jouard 2012
(13.4% natural alcohol): Bright yellow. Pineapple, honey and charry, spicy oak on the nose. Concentrated, complex and penetrating, conveying an impression of power and mouthfilling extract to its ripe flavors of pineapple and spices. Densely packed, silky and sweet but not heavy. Builds slowly and impressively on the back end. This goes beyond the 2013 version, but I could have done with less oak char.
