Tasting Notes

As with several wines in the range there is an intense note of mineral reduction along with green apple, pear and spiced herbal tea scents. There is extraordinary size, weight and intensity to the astonishingly concentrated and overtly muscular flavors that coat the palate with dry extract before culminating in a stunningly persistent finish. This is one big and powerful wine yet once again there is absolutely no trace of heaviness. It's relatively rare to have a Corton-Charlemagne that can rival a first-rate Montrachet but here is one such example.
