Tasting Notes

This is slightly more refined than the Corton-Charlemagne with its restrained and cool nose of Granny Smith apples, pear, wet stone and spice nuances. There is a discreet minerality suffusing the highly energetic and tension-filled medium weight plus flavors that possess a generous, even succulent mid-palate before terminating in a mouth coating and moderately dry finish that exhibits excellent length. This extract-rich effort should reward 5 to 8 years of cellar time.
