Chambolle Combe d'Orveau, Domaine Taupenot-Merme 2011

Tasting Notes

A pure, ripe and complex nose combines notes of red berry fruit liqueur, discreet spice elements and floral hints, all of which are set off by soft oak nuances. There is a very suave and textured mouth feel to the appealingly precise middle weight flavors that exude a lovely mineral element on the slightly saline-infused finish. A classic Chambolle.

Rich and round and perfumed and very flattering. Long. Polished. A very successful vintage for this wine. 2016-2027
