Noticeable wood spice is present on the otherwise bright, pure and very fresh aromas of newly turned earth and a broad array of wild red berries. There is excellent volume and plenty of punch to the structured and firm large-scaled flavors that possess a lovely texture on the saline-infused finish. This is less austere than usual and should amply repay mid to even longer-term aging.
