A floral, spicy and rivetingly complex nose that offers up wonderfully fine gradations of red pinot fruit and warm earth aromas complements to perfection the rich, full and powerful flavors that are generous yet precise on the tautly muscled finish that explodes on the palate. The sense of vibrancy is almost palpable and like the Mazis, everything is focused, harmonious and built to age for 20+ years. A textbook Chambertin.
