(Van Volxem Kanzemer Altenberg Riesling Alte Reben) AP: 23 13. This is incredibly fresh and pure on the nose as elegant and intense floral scents as well as cassis and smoke make this wine airy. This classy feel continues on the palate where the wine is pure and shows almost no weight and yet delivers complex, smoky and slate-infused flavors in the long finish. This is a great dry-tasting Altenberg. 2015-2022
