Here there is no reductive funk and instead the pure, fresh and airy array displays notes of acacia blossom, citrus, spice, wet stone and a subtle application of wood. There is a highly refined mouth feel to the rather round and rich medium-bodied flavors that are surprisingly forward on the slightly awkward finale that displays a hint of bitter lemon. My sense is that this will very likely tighten up before it’s bottled and will require time to harmonize and as such my predicted range offers the benefit of the doubt.
