Tasting Notes

Deep ruby in colour, with a powerful, blackcurrant and cedar driven nose that is flecked with dried violets. Chalky and savoury on the palate, with a hint of game and tobacco but a real core of dark black fruits in the middle. The once firm tannins have now melted into the wine and allow the cassis and black cherry to shine through. Savoury and mineral on a long, harmonious finish.
