Tasting Notes

A pleasant, one-dimensional St.-Emilion, the 2005 Tertre Daugay reveals aromas of herbs, sweet cherries, loamy soil, and a hint of spice. Drink it over the next decade.

Tasted blind. Very dark blackish crimson. Looks pretty youthful. Unexpectedly muted nose. Well-balanced palate with lots of density and lots of tannin – very much in the mould of what one would expect from a 2005. Much less developed than most other lesser St-Émilions, but a bit dead on the end. 15%
