Tasting Notes

Moderate reduction knocks down the nose and renders it difficult to evaluate. On the plus side though there is a beguiling freshness to the pure, detailed and racy medium weight flavors that also possess that lovely sense of underlying tension that makes the flavors and finish come alive in the mouth, particularly on the beautifully well-delineated finish. This well-balanced and highly persistent effort isn't quite as concentrated as the Genevrières though it's just as refined.

Barrel sample. From the low part of the vineyard. He prefers cool vintages in Perrières. Rich and flavourful with some sweetness and less of the tension than some other cuvées but massive build still. I’d love this! Lots to chew on. Drink between 2019-2028
