Tasting Notes

Blackish crimson. Extremely rich yet savoury, sappy nose. Explosively ripe. Sumptuous yet round. Tannins hard to discern at first (but they are there) because the wine is so beautifully sweet and rich. There's a massive layer of fruit over them. This wine could even be drunk now but will clearly evolve considerably. Quite an achievement from Francois Mitjavile of Tertre Roteboeuf.
