This notably spiced effort offers up a broad-ranging nose of violet, plum, black cherry and Asian-style tea. The sleek and rich but agreeably textured and rich middle weight flavors possess fine length if not quite the overall complexity of the old vines Chambolle. Lovely and very well-balanced and with time in bottle it is entirely possible that this will catch its stable mate. Drink: 2021+
A bit more intense than the other village wines but still very relaxed style. Very user-friendly. Tight, fine tannins on the finish. 2018 - 2028
