Tasting Notes

The 2001 Terre du lion has evolved beautufully over the last few years, from the second the cork is pulled it releases aromas of blackberries, plum, roasted coffee, Asian Spice, cured meats and pipe tobacco. This possesses a gorgeous soft velvety texture and the tannins have resolved nicely, resulting in a wonderfully smooth, balanced wine. This is right at the peak of its drinking window and is showing incredible right now. (Best 2014-2017)
