Tasting Notes

A silky and refined red with plum, berry and cherry character. Medium body and a fresh finish. Shows finesse and beauty. Lively acidity. Best ever. All the Testamatta and Colore is declassified into this. Wow. Drink or hold.

When to drink: 2017 to 2021
Mainly Sangiovese raised in French barriques.
Light crimson. Quite sweet and elderberry-like but less fresh than the simpler Casamatta. In fact rather drying of the insides of the cheeks. Very sweet! Maybe one just has to wait a little?
