This hugely backward cask sample only hints at complex scents of pear, honey and herbs. The wine has the smooth oiliness of a BA on the palate as date and other dried fruits bring a nicely baroque and complex side to the more upfront fresh zesty flavors running through the wine. The finish is smooth, zesty and incredibly long, even if not very expressive at this stage. 2025-2055
