Echézeaux, Domaine Emmanuel Rouget 2014

Tasting Notes

**Note: from a total area of 1.06 ha with 60 to 65 year old vines in the climats of Les Treux and Cruots that have .63 ha and .43 ha, respectively**
A super-fresh nose of intensely spicy red cherry, cassis, Asian-style tea and discreet earth aromas also displays a hint of sandalwood. The mouth feel of the larger-scaled flavors is completely different as they're suave, round and generously proportioned though the tight, muscular, moderately austere and very serious finish makes it clear that this is not going to make for especially good early drinking.
