Tasting Notes

**Note: from 40+ year old vines in Petit Pré that were once classified as Volnay villages**
This is aromatically more elegant with its very fresh nose of mostly red pinot fruit that exhibits subtle nuances of spice and earth. There is good verve to the equally delicious middle weight flavors where the supporting tannins are notably finer than what is typically found at this level, all wrapped in a solidly complex and impressively persistent finish. This is excellent.
