Gevrey Chambertin Seuvrees, Domaine Robert Groffier 2015

Tasting Notes

The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Village includes 70% whole bunches this year and was matured entirely in new oak. It has a tightly wound bouquet with dense black fruit where the new oak does come through a little too strongly. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chewy tannin, moderate dept and good acidity. There is a pleasant spice note that lingers on the aftertaste. Give this a couple of years in bottle.
