Tasting Notes

A spicy and broad-ranging nose offers up notes of plum, earth, humus, forest floor and smoked tea as well as the defining animale component of a classic Corton. This is a big boy with rich, powerful and imposingly concentrated large-scaled flavors that brim with mouth coating and tannin-buffering dry extract that terminates in an explosive and dazzlingly persistent finish. It's interesting as this juxtaposes a velvety palate feel against the muscle of a serious Corton.
