This is also restrained but even more complex if not as aromatically elegant with its earthy and sauvage infused red currant aromas. I like the sense of underlying tension to the medium weight plus flavors that possess fine complexity on the lingering and velvety finish. While there is some youthful austerity present this should be approachable after only 5 to 6 years of bottle age.
Very pale dusky pink colour. Excellent, forthright perfume on the nose: roses, violets, crunchy red fruit, gently insistent on the palate. (RH)
