Romanée Saint Vivant, Domaine de l'Arlot 2014

Tasting Notes

**Note: from a .25 ha parcel that was planted in 1973 - an average vintage produces 3 barrels**
This is also initially a bit reduced but aggressive swirling finally reveals a refined nose that is quite similar to that of the Suchots but even more elegant and a bit more complex as well. The refined and silky medium weight flavors possess fine depth and a really lovely mouth feel while delivering fine length on the slightly warm and impressively long finale. As is sometimes the case with grands crus, this is still not 100% harmonious and as such my score is expressly on the conservative side.
