Criots Bâtard Montrachet, Domaine Fontaine Gagnard 2015

Tasting Notes

**Note: from 3 separate parcels that aggregate .33 ha**
An almost invisible touch of wood highlights the ever-so-slightly riper aromas of mildly exotic white peach, pear, and orange peel. There is excellent density to the exceptionally rich, sappy, generous and very round full-bodied flavors that possess a seductively textured mouth feel while delivering outstanding length on the robust and chewy, indeed almost tannic, finish. This is one of the relatively rare 2015 whites that will absolutely need extended cellaring and I would go so far as to say that if you're not prepared to cellar it at least 5-ish years, don't buy it.
