Chassagne Montrachet Maltroie, Domaine Niellon 2015

**Note: from a .94 ha parcel of 25+ year old vines, of which .52 ha is planted to chardonnay in Clos de la Maltroie and Les Places**
A well-layered nose offers up an assortment of aromas that include exotic fruit hints of lychee nut and white peach along with notes of pear, petrol and floral wisps. The flavor profile is interesting in that it is at once succulent and concentrated yet relatively refined with a bit more vibrancy on the lemon zest-infused finale. This is slightly firmer than the Champs Gain though it would be no vinous crime to enjoy this early on.
