La Réserve de Léoville Barton 2014
The 2014 Réserve de Léoville Barton has a little jamminess on the nose (one of the few Left Bank 2014s to demonstrate this.) It feels a little volatile and lacks some cohesion. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red and black fruit, voluminous and smooth, quite enjoying to drink even if it is not an intellectual prospect. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting. 2019 - 2026
