Tasting Notes

A bigger crop and healthy vines, this has citrus-focused fruits and is a year of easy balance and bright freshness. A quite assertive and front-and-centre vintage. Drink younger. Screw cap.

The lithe, nearly dry (five grams per liter of residual sugar) 2014 Craighall Vineyard Riesling offers aromas of fresh ferns, green apples and limes. It's light to medium-bodied, with a pleasantly grainy texture reminiscent of many German examples but so rarely found in the New World. Lime sherbet notes linger on the finish. 2018 - 2025
