The 2014 Châteauneuf du Pape Croix de Bois is also a single vineyard cuvee and is 100% Grenache. It’s always has a more fruit forward feel than the more structured Barbe Rac and offers gorgeous notes of sweet black cherries, black raspberry, spice-box and licorice in a full-bodied, voluptuous and hedonistic style. It will knock your socks off on release, yet keep for a decade.
