Gevrey Chambertin, Pascale Marchand / Marchand-Tawse / Domaine Tawse 2015

Tasting Notes

Here the nose is decidedly earthier with notes of forest floor, humus and game adding breadth to the largely dark berry fruit-scented aromas. There is very fine volume to the rich, powerful and mouth coating flavors that terminate in a serious, youthfully austere and well-balanced finale. Despite being relatively tightly wound today there is so much sap that this could be drunk with pleasure young. Again, worth considering especially for value.
