Nuits Chenes Carteaux, Domaine Henri Gouges 2011

Tasting Notes

A discreet touch of wood surround the ripe and well-layered mix of red berry fruit scents that are liberally laced with earth and underbrush nuances. There is good ripeness to the suave, even seductive middle weight flavors that possess really lovely depth on the persistent, balanced and harmonious finish. This is really quite good and worth considering. Drink: 2019+

Tightly wound, showing cherry, raspberry and earth flavors intertwined with the compact structure. Long on the finish, this red hints at future potential. Best from 2015 through 2023. 127 cases imported.

Very firm fruited. Quite juicy and confident. Racy and rich – good combo. Very long. Bravo! 2016 - 2026
