La Fleur de Gay 2015
The 2015 La Fleur de Gay has a reserved nose, truffle-tinged black fruit that gradually opens in the glass, nicely defined but clearly requiring bottle age. The palate is medium-bodied with a fresh, fleshy entry, much brighter than the aromatics with orange rind interlacing the crunchy red fruit, leading to a structured finish. There are touches of white pepper and tobacco on the aftertaste, completing an excellent Pomerol. Anticipated maturity: 2020 - 2036.

The 2015 La Fleur de Gay is deep garnet-purple in color with a baked plums and blackberry pie nose with black soil, cedar chest and dried herbs hints. The palate is full, muscular and firm with a chewy frame and long, grippy finish with lingering earth notions. 2018 - 2029
