Tasting Notes

The 2015 La Fleur de Gay is deep garnet-purple in color with a baked plums and blackberry pie nose with black soil, cedar chest and dried herbs hints. The palate is full, muscular and firm with a chewy frame and long, grippy finish with lingering earth notions. 2018 - 2029

Tasted blind. Very dark and concentrated blackish ruby. High toned. Sweet and very Pomerol concentration. A bit hot on the end but no doubting its dark-chocolate origins. Just a bit sandpapery on the end.
