Tasting Notes

Just mid ruby. Lots of minerals and iron on the nose and hints of orange skin. Gently perfumed cherry palate and then firm tannins that do not overwhelm the fruit. Racy and lots of tension and firmly structured, even a little drying but the finish is juicy. Quite powerful and needs much more time to settle. Lots of depth on the finish, persistent fruit and richly tannic. Elegance is key here, but this needs much more time.
