**Note: from a .28 ha parcel of 25+ year old vines in Calouère - the first vintage was 1979**
A discreetly toasty nose offers up beautifully layered aromas of black cherry, rose petal, earth and a hint of tea. As one would reasonably expect the mouth feel of the textured middle weight flavors is notably finer even though this is every bit as structured as the Millandes, all wrapped in an impressively long finish that delivers the same fine complexity as the nose. This beautiful effort is a combination of finesse and power and once again at least a decade of patience will be required.
