Chambertin, Francois Feuillet 2012

Tasting Notes

This is also quite floral with plenty of lovely spice elements on the reserved and well-layered aromas of black cherry, plum and slightly earthy aromas that display background sauvage nuances. There is very fine concentration to the supple and relatively refined medium weight plus flavors that display subtle but focused power on the wonderfully long, harmonious and palate staining finish that is built around a core of almost pungent minerality. There is moderate austerity present yet this is less imposing than one might imagine for a young Chambertin.
