**Note: 55+ year old vines, a portion of which abut Griotte**
An exceptionally fresh and cool nose of wild red berries and earth scents introduces large-scaled flavors that are notably dense and powerful while being supported by a very firm but ripe tannic spine. There is a taut muscularity to the driving finish that delivers outstanding length for its class and this should age extremely well, indeed it will need up to a decade to shed its considerable tannins. Worth considering.
